A festive Christmas Week

The Christmas spirit was in full swing at First Steps Nursery this week as we celebrated with a delightful Christmas party lunch as well as our Nativity with the School leavers group.

The children sat around the tables brimming with excitement, each wearing a party hat they had decorated themselves. The colourful hats, adorned with glitter, stickers, and drawings, added a personal touch to the festive celebration.

  • Festive Feast: The children served themselves from the spread of party food, there were mini sandwiches, colourful veggie platters, and tasty snacks that the children enjoyed.

  • Party Hats: The children proudly wore the party hats they had made themselves. Each hat was a unique masterpiece, showcasing their creativity and adding a festive flair to the lunch. The room was filled with laughter and joy as they admired each other's handiwork.

  • Dancing Fun: Once the delicious lunch had settled, the real fun began! We turned up the Christmas tunes, and the children hit the dance floor. Their enthusiasm and energy were contagious as they danced to classic Christmas songs. It was a heart-warming sight to see them twirling, jumping, and singing along with big smiles on their faces.

Our nativity show was a magical experience:

  • Adorable Costumes: The children looked absolutely adorable in their costumes. From tiny halos and fluffy sheep to regal robes and shiny crowns, every child had a role to play and they did it with heartwarming enthusiasm.

  • Memorable Performances: The children were a little bit shy with their lines but our ‘fluffy sheep’ Jayden came to the rescue. There was lots of moving and shaking to the songs, making the story of the first Christmas come alive.

  • Heart-warming Moments: There were plenty of cute moments as the children performed. From the shy smiles of the little angels to the dancing of the young shepherds, every scene was filled with innocence and wonder.

The nativity show at First Steps Nursery was a heart-warming celebration of the true spirit of Christmas. The children’s performances were a testament to their hard work and the loving guidance of Lauren, Ella and the Preschool team.

Wishing all our families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at First Steps Nursery!
